Starbucks looks to the east as inspiration for this winter indulgence. Sourcing first-harvest green tea leaves in Japan, Starbucks new Pure Matcha beverages is an ode to the Japanese tea goodness.
Okinawa Brown Sugar Latte, Black Sesame Pure Matcha Latte with Taro Foam and Caramel Pure Matcha Chocolate Chip Frappuccino brewed the authentically-sourced green tea leaves to the perfect balance of Starbucks premium grade ingredients.
Pure Matcha is known to be an aromatic tea with fresh green notes and a silky finish. With Starbucks handcrafted beverages, the Pure Matcha is customisable to any level of preferred sweetness.
The eye-popping “Black Sesame Pure Matcha Latte with Taro Foam” packed a punch of flavours with distinct matcha fragrance mixed with velvety black sesame sauce. The drink is completed with a frothy layer of purple taro foam for a richly flavoured treat. The price starts from RM17.50.
The deliciously blended beverage, “Caramel Pure Matcha Choc Chip Frappuccino®”, is another authentic matcha indulgence with crunchy chocolate java chips. The Frappuccino® is drizzled with smooth caramel sauce for an overall unique taste. The price starts from RM19.10.
“Okinawa Brown Sugar Latte” elevates Starbucks signature espresso with a swirl of Okinawa brown sugar sweetness. This favourite brown sugar blend latte topped with milk foam is available in hot, iced or blended. The price starts from RM17.50.
Along with Lunar New Year celebrations, Starbucks has rolled out its unique festival food, the “Orange Muffin with Cranberry & Cream Cheese”, “Classic Walnut Cookies” and “Golden Treasure Cupcake” as guilty indulgences.
The new menu is available at all stores nationwide for a limited time only.
