As part of the Le French Festival 2017 in KL, catch this unexpected performance of plastic bag puppets dancing ballet to Claude Debussy’s symphonic masterpieces, “Afternoon of a Faun”, “Nocturnes” and “Dialogue of the Wind and the Sea”. 16-18 JUNE | The Malaysia Percussion Festival (MPF)
Aiming to build a community of musicians, the festival this year sees performances from various percussionists and include educational talks and workshops for budding musicians. The concert will be graced by expert percussionists such as Kevin Field, Max Riefer, and Iskandar Rashid. The last day sees the hosting of the first ever Malaysia Percussion Festival Competition (MPFC) featuring participants from all ages.
