Kluang is a cozy little town in Johor that most people would really think of going to for neither career nor an exciting vacation reasons. But for those who’re sick of the busy cities atmosphere or every other mainstream tourism spots in Malaysia, Kluang might just be the another perfect town for you as it is very quiet and relaxing, with many relatively unknown places that can offer you unique experiences, awesome foods, and glimpses of the heartwarming old days, which everyone might miss so much
- TONG HUAT CONFECTIONARY
If you’re one of Chinese descendant in Malaysia, you’d definitely at least have seen before these iconic “tao sar pneah” or “kuih kacang masin” wrapped in pink paper. I saw someone used to buy them every now and then, especially around Chinese festive seasons. Moreover, it’s still all being done manually by the hands of the hardworking and friendly people at the Tong Huat Confectionary shop on Jalan Cantik.

- UK AGRO FARM
The destination (Project Pertanian Moden Kluang, KM13 Jalan Batu Pahat) isn’t very much the easiest to get to, and the road towards there is quite bumpy as hell, but going to a genuine farm was definitely something different that you can take in for a change and I think most people would truly enjoy whole farm tour experience as much as I did. I’d consider that this place should have been the main tourist attraction of Kluang.

- GUNUNG LAMBAK (MOUNT LAMBAK)
The entire trek up to the summit is around 1.5km and people with moderate fitness might be able to reach the top in about 90 minutes. Although it may be literally breathtaking place to some visitors, this mountain is actually quite easy for them to climb with the pathways and wooden bridges provided, and no equipment is actually required at all. However, the jungle trek just might get a bit steeper and it would be really challenging if it’s getting wet.

- ZENXIN ORGANIC FARM
Kluang’s main attractions are definitely the organic farms. Like UK Agro Farm, Zenxin is one kind of humongous zoo of organic production. It is being considered to be the largest vegetable farm in Peninsular Malaysia with over a scenic area of 100 acres. Zenxin’s “Back to Nature Educational Fun” allows visitors to basically learn and have a closer look at organic growths such as dragon fruits, mulberries, mushrooms, Horti plants, herbs and plenty other more.
