Chasing beyond latest trends to something much greater, these ethical fashion brands in Southeast Asia are hopeful towards a wholesome betterment through their love for fashion.
Singapore’s first sustainable swimwear label is all the buzz when it first launched last year. Align Swim is the perfect minimalist swimwear to have as the figure-accentuating pieces are handcrafted to fit every curve in their timeless cuts.
Vera, founder of Align Swim, find it a mission to introduce good quality and nature-friendly swimwear at a reasonable value.
“I have started my own business ever since I graduated from University and after 2 years plus, I decided to create Align Swim as I love swimwear but good quality and sustainable swimwear is so hard to find at a reasonable price point.
“Thus, all of my designs are meant to fit Asian women and more conservative than usual swimwear from European, American or Australian”, shared Vera.
Made from an Italian fabric called econyl, Align swimwear material offers excellent UV protection and is more chlorine resistant. If you don’t know, econyl is made from recycled materials from landfills and the ocean.
Down to their eco-friendly packaging pouch, Align Swim goes through a long process in producing the perfect swimwear that aligns to our bodies and the environment.
