The official launch of MITA Travel Fair saw their motives clear, to further expose the beauty of domestic destinations to Malaysians and beyond.
Case in point, they have taken the effort to expand the fair this year to accommodate 650 booths for local tour companies and state tourism groups. Get great travel deals to numerous parts of Malaysia as MITA is working closely with tourism groups like Perak Tourism, Pahang Tourism and Sabah Tourism to promote fun local attractions.
To add more cheer to the event, the first ever Malaysia Food Festival Hall featuring authentic cuisine from the many states in Malaysia will be up during the 3-day event.
An arts and crafts section will also be set up for visitors to discover and even purchase various traditional handicrafts from around the country.
The launch also unveiled the MITA Travel Fair mascot named eMas who will be a virtual tour guide during the travel event. Designed specifically for MITA and representing the colours of the Malaysian flag, eMas will guide you to the beauty and wonders of the local Malaysian tourism scene.
